CEMACON, a leader in the ceramic block manufacturing industry, has been recertified as a “Best Managed Company” under the programme initiated by Deloitte in partnership with Banca Transilvania (BT), Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE). CEMACON first received the certification last year for its performance in 2023.
“We are extremely honoured to receive this title again, as evidence of the hard work and focus on performance of the entire team, whom I thank,” said Daniel Șologon. “I am proud of how we have worked together to turn challenges into opportunities and maintain our commitment to performance. We have had a busy year, with technological upgrades to our production lines and the completion of the merger with Euro Cărămida, alongside the launch of new products that are more energy-efficient and made from 100% natural raw materials. We inaugurated a new administrative headquarters in Recea, an architectural statement combining contemporary industrial design with natural clay elements to showcase our products, and laid the foundations for new investments.”
The 2024 “Best Managed Companies” programme attracted 113 companies. Of these, 20 were certified for the first time, 12 received certification for the second time, and two achieved their third consecutive certification.
“Best Managed Companies” certification recognises excellence in company management and is awarded to firms that demonstrate a clear business strategy, innovation capacity, a strong organisational culture and outstanding financial performance. It is obtained through a rigorous evaluation process conducted by independent experts who analyse and validate company management practices, giving the best performers prestigious recognition that strengthens their market reputation.
