Through its values and internal standards, CEMACON SA commits to maintaining the highest level of ethics and professional conduct, showing “zero” tolerance for any illegal acts and serious offences arising from breaches of the law* that could affect the Company’s image and credibility.

If you hold information obtained in a professional context about breaches of the law that have occurred or are likely to occur within the Company, we provide the following channels for reporting irregularities:

Reports may be submitted under your name or anonymously.

The report must contain at least the following information:
• the whistleblower’s surname, first name and contact details (optionally, the position held by the person submitting the report), or signature — if the report is anonymous, these details should not be provided;
• the surname, first name and position of the person concerned, if known;
• a description of the act or acts that may constitute a breach of the law or the company’s internal standards, and the professional context in which the information was obtained;
• the report must be accompanied by supporting documents, evidence or proof, identifying the people who hold that evidence and the person or people involved, if known.
Note: Your identity remains confidential and cannot be disclosed while you do not wish to reveal it (do not enter personal details in the report), except with your written consent or where disclosure is required by law, subject to the conditions and limits it provides.
* Breaches of the law = acts or omissions that constitute non-compliance with legal provisions in areas such as public procurement; financial services, products and markets, and the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing; product safety and compliance; transport safety; environmental protection; public health; consumer protection; protection of privacy and personal data, and security of networks and information systems, as well as other acts expressly provided for in Law no. 361/2022 on the protection of whistleblowers in the public interest.
Within a maximum of 7 calendar days, if you have not chosen to report anonymously, you will be informed that your report has been received.

Within no more than 3 months from the acknowledgement of receipt or, if receipt has not been acknowledged, from the expiry of the 7-day period mentioned above, and subsequently whenever there are developments in the follow-up actions, you will be informed, unless providing this information could jeopardise those actions.

The whistleblower should be aware that reporting information about breaches of the law that proves to be untrue or unfounded constitutes a contravention and is punishable by a fine of 2,500 lei to 30,000 lei, unless the act was committed in circumstances that make it a criminal offence under the law.
