  • It does not require an additional insulation system, having the same thermal resistance as a normal 30 cm wall with 10 cm insulation.
  • It keeps the heat inside in the cold season and ensures a cool environment inside the building during the summer, having a superior thermal inertia compared to a regular 30 cm wall with 10 cm insulation.
  • Variations in outside temperatures are much later felt inside, due to the higher thermal phase lag compared to a typical 30 cm wall with 10 cm insulation.

  • Insulates sound 2.5 times better than ordinary hollow brick. Rock wool has superior sound insulation properties, and by replacing the air in the ceramic blocks with basalt wool, the air noise is absorbed, thus ensuring the acoustic comfort of the building, right from the masonry phase.

Both the ceramic part of the brick and the rock wool insulation have high vapor permeability, allowing vapor transfer through the walls. Thus, the humidity is kept under control, by releasing the excess from inside the home to the outside, reducing the risk of dampness and mold and the negative implications caused by them, such as allergies or asthma.

In addition, being made from natural raw materials, clay, sand and volcanic rock, EVOCERAMIC 44 VB bricks can be recycled up to 100%.
