PUBLIC NOTICE

SC CEMACON SA, with its registered office in Cluj-Napoca, Calea Turzii no. 178K–188S, 1st floor, Cluj County, registered with the Cluj Trade Register under no. J2012002466120, tax identification number RO 677858, as the developer of the CLAY QUARRYING WORKS project in the Braniștea Vest perimeter, Galați County, under exploitation licence no. 2530/2001, hereby informs the interested public that DJM Galați has issued a screening decision requiring no environmental impact assessment, no assessment of the impact on water bodies and no appropriate assessment, as part of the environmental impact assessment procedure for the CLAY QUARRYING WORKS project in the Braniștea Vest perimeter, proposed to be located in Land Block 41, Parcel 319 and Land Block 64, Parcel 320, Land Register no. 110849.
The draft screening decision and the reasons on which it is based may be consulted at http://www.djmgl.anmap.gov.ro, under the section Reglementări → Acordul de mediu → Proiect decizie etapă de încadrare (Regulations → Environmental Agreement → Draft Screening Decision).
The interested public may submit comments or observations on the draft screening decision within 10 days of the date on which the notice is published on the DJM Galați website, by email to office@djmgl.anmap.gov.ro.
