A house sitting on the ground, developed entirely horizontally, freed from the usual constraints of small spaces, can create new relationships between interior and exterior, between man and living space, between the courtyard in its entirety and the separate courtyards resulting from the articulation of volumetrics.

Gradually developed from the street to the rear area, the house alternately articulates the access area with the technical spaces, the living area with the kitchen glazed on three sides, the large living room open to two terraces with their own individuality, followed by the night area composed of of 3 bedrooms with related facilities, grouped in a bar located towards the back of the yard.

Emphasizing the idea of horizontality and closeness to the ground, the volume of the house is defined by the wide eaves, which cover the open terrace between the volume of the kitchen and that of the night area, but also the entrance area, marking very clearly on a sensory level the limit of top of the house. The only place where this limitation is canceled is the living room, which is not plastered, the room being open to the level of the frame. Here, a few windows placed between the rafters in the form of a skylight open the space vertically to the sky, making the relationship with the sun a very special one.
