100 years Lifespan

CEMACON facing brick is specially designed for construction in Romania, being adapted to local climatic conditions. It has a lifespan of over 100 years and develops a distinctive aesthetic appearance over time. By using the most advanced production technologies, the result is an extremely durable material with low water absorption and excellent resistance to freeze-thaw cycles.

100% Natural Clay

For the manufacturing of this brick, clays or clay mixtures are used, along with other carefully selected natural ingredients. The selection process for raw materials is rigorous and takes place in our own laboratory, to ensure both the aesthetic qualities and the physical performance of the final product.

High resistance to Freeze–Thaw

The meticulous selection of clays, ensuring high material density, and firing at temperatures of up to 1200°C contribute to achieving low water absorption and enhanced resistance to freeze-thaw cycles. CEMACON facing bricks are tested and certified for these performances in internationally accredited laboratories.

Dirt resistance

Facades clad with brick slips are not affected by dirt, dust and the action of environmental factors, being easy to clean by washing. They also do not lose their color over the years, will not deteriorate requiring replacement, have high resistance due to the properties of the brick slips, requiring minimal maintenance throughout their lifetime.

Mechanical resistence

The high density and clinkerization of the clay gives a very high strength to the Cemacon brick slips. Regardless of the size of the plated surface, the facade will resist both the action of natural factors (rain, hail) and other external mechanical factors.

Part of the energy required to produce the Cemacon brick slips comes from renewable energy obtained in its own photovoltaic park.

Low Carbon Footprint

The Cemacon brick slips are the result of an efficient technological process: low energy consumption, high productivity and a carbon footprint reduced by 90% compared to the first generation brick slabs, obtained by cutting traditional solid bricks.

Respects the principles of Circular Economy

Through the efficient use of raw materials, the reduction of waste generated in the manufacturing process and their reuse in recipes, CEMACON brick slips are manufactured based on the principles of the circular economy. The raw materials used for the production of CEMACON brick slips are selected so that they are reusable and recyclable, including the packaging used are from recycled materials, thus ensuring a sustainable production cycle, as well as the conservation of natural resources.
