Casa Leonte is a renovation, restoration and expansion project of a 100 years old residential building, located in the center of Bucharest.
In this case, the Evoceramic VB solution proved to be the only viable one for this type of project. The extension was made with Evoceramic 40 VB, both for thermal and acoustic comfort, but also for the fact that the buildable surface is between two shields, so it became practically impossible to insulate from the outside. Because the entire facade was restored and the applied stone-plaster ornaments had a considerable weight, the attic overhang in the old building body was also made with Evoceramic 40 VB to make it possible to anchor the ornaments to an external thermally insulated surface .
The interior partitions were made with Evoceramic 12 VB, for both acoustic and resistance reasons given that a number of the original structures of the house were to be applied to these walls.
The plaster used was EVO TM, both for the thermal insulation effect and for the ease of mechanized application.
For the fireplace located in the living room of the residence, the Chimney from Cemacon, certified by A.S.F.O.C.H., was preferred.
