The proposed project is located in an urban area of the city of Cluj Napoca, whose character is defined by narrow and long plots, with small family homes, with a maximum of two levels, located on gently sloping land.
Two volumes are distinguished in the composition of the house, the first, the one facing the street, located on the footprint of the former house, houses the night area, both on the ground floor and in the newly proposed attic.
The second volume at the back of the plot, less high, fully encompasses the living area, composed of the living room and the kitchen. The proposed architecture wants to offer both a successful model for expanding a home and for good integration, respecting the built environment in the neighbourhood.
